Samuel Young

Samuel graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2002. He worked for two years in Western Australia, working in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and private practice. He then spent a year working with a number of different aboriginal communities throughout the red centre and Arnhem land, in the Northern Territory.
Before leaving Australia he returned to his home state and worked in a private hospital ward specialising in the treatment of orthopaedic operations (shoulder and knee arthroscopic repairs, anterior and posterior ligament knee reconstructions, hip and knee replacements). He also worked in a complex orthopaedic team aimed at rehabilitation. Both these jobs involved large amounts of hydrotherapy.
Samuel spent a year in Ireland, working in private practices in both Cork and Dublin, treating a number of different sporting and work-related injuries before joining Physio in the City at the Reebok Club Canary Wharf.
He has a musculoskeletal background, specialising in sporting injuries, trigger point therapy, rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery and hydrotherapy.
Samuel is an avid sportsmen, playing Australian and Gaelic football, cricket, tennis, basketball, water and snow skiing.
